Market community starts online survey with a new focus from January 9, 2023

The market town of Wolfurt calls on employees of kindergartens and childcare facilities to take part in the biennial employee satisfaction survey. Special attention will be paid this year to the future development of the facilities. The online survey is open from January 9th to 22nd. The results should help to further improve the framework conditions, which ultimately benefit the families.

There are seven kindergartens and two child care facilities in Wolfurt. There, more than 80 employees are currently taking care of 400 children up to the age of 6. The market community is now calling on all employees to take part in the satisfaction survey between January 9th and 22nd. After acute challenges during the pandemic, the focus this year is on future developments. “We want to use the knowledge and experience to further improve the care facilities and processes, which ultimately benefits the families,” emphasizes Deputy Mayor and familieplus team leader Angelika Moosbrugger.

More than two-thirds took part in the last survey. Based on the answers, the cleaning of the facilities and time recording, for example, were reorganized. “I am convinced that satisfied employees are the basis for high-quality childcare. That’s why every single piece of feedback is valuable to us,” emphasizes Moosbrugger. It is also important to her to get a picture of the mood in the individual institutions. The municipality also offers personal talks if necessary.

Quality assurance tool
The results will be evaluated in cooperation with the Wolfurt company ph7 by spring. Wolfurt regularly conducts online surveys. In addition to employees of the municipality, families whose children are cared for in kindergartens and childcare facilities are also surveyed every two years in order to find out how things can be improved. “Surveys are an important tool for quality assurance and improvement for our community,” emphasizes Moosbrugger.

Active familieplus member
Wolfurt has been a member of the familieplus state program for eight years, with the aim of further improving all areas of family life. In October, the market town achieved the maximum level 5 in recertification. The jury particularly praised actions to increase road safety for children, the wide range of games, sports and leisure activities and the support for clubs. Citizen participation procedures, parent satisfaction surveys and extensive information material for families also contributed to the top result.
