Woman tries to open emergency door on flight back to Miami

A passenger who threatened to open the emergency door of a return flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Miami International Airport (MIA), caused delays and tension on board the aircraft.

According to the stories published in the popular Instagram group Only in Dadethe woman repeatedly pressed the call button and threatened to open the emergency door when the aircraft was on the takeoff runway.

This disruptive conduct forced the flight to return immediately to the boarding gate, interrupting the takeoff sequence of other aircraft and generating a state of alarm among the passengers and crew.

On July 3, it emerged that another woman created a great moment of tension by interrupting and delaying an American Airlines flight for three hours, stating that one of the passengers was not “a real person.”

That plane, which was leaving from the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Orlando, had to postpone its departure due to the woman’s allegations that one of the people on board it wasn’t real and had to get off.

American Airlines told reporters that it was a flight that had to be “returned to base due to a disruptive customer.”

The company said that local law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and agreed that the passenger may have suffered from an aerophobia attack.
