A sanitation worker was fatally trapped in the back of the garbage truck he was working on in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
The incident was reported to have taken place in the 200 block of West Hinckely Street at about 11:44 am Tuesday.
Upon arrival, Ridley Park officers found the 30-year-old victim in the truck belonging to a company subcontracted for the cleanup operation.
The investigation was conducted by medical personnel, police accident investigators, and OSHA (who protects workers) personnel.
Until now, the injuries sustained by the worker in their entirety are unknown, nor is their identity. The event remains under investigation.
