It’s being reported that WWE has extended Alexa Bliss’ contract after it was recently announced that the wrestler is pregnant.
In an interview with The Messenger, Alexa Bliss explained how she found out about the pregnancy:
I was getting ready for my return to the ring and I was having really bad cramps. I thought it was weird. So I decided to do a test and I think I said: “Oh, m*rda”.
In addition, the former champion spoke about her time away from the rings and even mentioned the extension of her contract:
WWE gave me some time off for the Masked Singer so I could fully immerse myself in that experience, with rehearsals, singing lessons and everything else. From a plot point of view, I wasn’t on television, so it worked out perfectly.
WWE extended my contract, so basically I just come back when I’m ready. Probably a month after the baby, I’ll start going back to the gym and getting ready to see what my return to the ring will be like.
