The new free games in the February 2023 Xbox Games with Gold program have been announced by Microsoft. These are more confidential titles that have been very well rated by players.
The Xbox Games With Gold program has lost some of its splendor in favor of Xbox Game Pass. Since October 2022, the Redmond firm has made changes to its offer, making it even less interesting. Formerly, the formula offered four monthly free games including some titles for the Xbox Series and Xbox One, and another more retro dedicated to Xbox 360 games. The latter was finally cut without being replaced, lowering the number of titles offered only two. This does not prevent the Redmond firm from offering more confidential but appreciated productions. A must-have for Live Gold subscribers, the Xbox Games With Gold free games program isn’t what it used to be. Less interesting than in the past, it nevertheless allows you to retrieve new titles every month as part of your Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. For the month of February, Microsoft is once again betting on two small titles, one of which has nearly 22,000 extremely positive reviews on Steam. - Guts N Goals (February 16 to March 15)
For the King
From February 1 to 28, players will therefore be able to pick up For the King. A strategic RPG that had already been highlighted last month in one of the Xbox Free Days of Play selections. In this free Xbox Games with Gold game, the kingdom of Fahrul is thrown into chaos. The queen must ask her subjects to postpone the catastrophe caused by the death of the king. It’s up to you to answer its desperate call by overcoming a plethora of turn-based combat coupled with elements of roguelike. To spice things up, all events, maps, and quests are procedurally generated. Upon release, For The King was a smash hit and the game is currently rated 9/10 on Steam.
Guts ‘N Goals
Guts ‘N Goals also received a warm welcome from the players. A free game to pick up as part of Xbox Games with Gold from February 16 to March 15, 2023. Here, the soccer balls are sometimes hockey pucks and where you use a bat to score goals, rather than your feet. Try many mini-games and choose from more than 30 unique heroes to experience wild games. The mutators create surprise and the ball can change shape at any time during the game.
