It has been known for some time that Compulsion Games is working on a new IP, still shrouded in mystery: specifically the next game from the internal studio Xboxesformer author of We Happy Fewit would be a third-person Action/Adventure, but so far no definitive confirmation has come to that effect.

However, according to what emerged from the LinkedIn profile of a member of Compulsion Gamesnot only does the game exist in all respects, but it would already be in alpha stage and playable. To report these details is the narrative director of the mysterious work, Lisa H., who on his LinkedIn page specifies that he helped bring the game from pre-production to alpha. However, there are no further details about the nature of the project, except that the author is collaborating with other departments of Compulsion to ensure that gameplay and narrative are consistent with each other.

Compulsion confirmed work on a new IP in 2021, but there have been no concrete updates on the game since. During the summer of 2022, an update to its site hinted that the new Compulsion game would be revealed at the Xbox Showcase last June, but the studio didn’t show anything new. In any case, the team is regularly carrying out work on its next production shrouded in mystery, hopefully for a little while longer.
