Yaucan Yarimar Mercado won a silver medal in the 10-meter air rifle, in the continuation of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

“The scores here are very close. In the end I had secured a medal and I was calmer, I am close to second place. The last throw was not a 10, the other threw a 10. In the end I won money. My nerves left me, I was very calm, confident. We already won, Puerto Rico. Another gold, but no”, said the Rifle shooter.
