Yaris Makkay is taken again

Yaris Makkay, 19, the son of Peter Maffay, 74, went through life with the much older Melissa for a year and a half, but the two have been separated for a few weeks. Every now and then she gives updates via social media in which she reports on the challenges. This is also the case in the current video, which is celebrated by her followers.

“Halfway! 6 months since the cancer diagnosis,” writes the TV presenter on his Instagram account and is visibly proud of his partner, who so bravely accepted the terrible diagnosis and turned out to be a true fighter. “How are you really?” was the most frequently asked question in all this time, which the couple also addressed in the joint video. Patrice says she’s “feeling better at the moment,” but anyone who has received a cancer diagnosis can attest that it’s “an ebb and flow of emotions. Physically and mentally.” Patrices then analyzed her psychological state since her cancer diagnosis. It can’t always be positive.

Daniel also chimes in and says: “The last few weeks have been heavy.” He describes that his loved one showed a certain “sadness”. Patrice Aminati describes, “I had many very sad and difficult moments, with anger, with sadness, with self-blame, with fear of course and with a great lack of motivation. There are days when it is difficult to get up.”

But Daniel and Patrice are two people for whom the glass is always half full. They are fighting cancer as a team and the TV presenter was hopeful that the worst time was behind them. We wish Patrice Aminati the same from the bottom of our hearts.
