The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of the most important titles of the year. For example, Nintendo has announced a Collector’s Edition for the upcoming top title, which we have already reported on. But that’s not all when it comes to Tears of the Kingdom. Finally, a leak made the rounds some time ago, which indicated a switch in the Zelda design. At that time, photos of the design and the packaging finally got onto the internet. Now promo photos of the console are said to have appeared.
The supposed “leak”
The new images were posted to Twitter by a user named “jiulink Hua” and show the console from different perspectives. Both the Joy-Cons, the back of the console and the dock were decorated with patterns and logos. The colors green, white and gold were primarily used for the designs.
However, under the tweet, one person notes that these are not official photos, but a fan-made version. The link, which is supposed to prove this, leads nowhere at the time of this news. Another link on Reddit leads us to a post on the Chinese website “Weibo“. The mock-up of a fan-made variant of the Nintendo Switch was published here on February 15.
The images on the website are exactly the same as those that the Twitter user later posted as a “leak”. Therefore it should be not be a leak to the Zelda switch.
