Police report that a 16-year-old boy died after being shot in the head in Manhattan.
According to investigators, the incident occurred on Tuesday at the intersection of Spring and Varick streets, in the Soho neighborhood, shortly after 2 p.m.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
In addition to being shot in the head, the victim reportedly received two other gunshot wounds to the leg.
Police are searching for two suspects who fled the scene on Citibike bicycles.
