MIAMI. Within the framework of the National Month of Child Abuse Prevention, Friends For Kidsa nonprofit organization based in Miami Since 1991, it has been at the forefront of this critical mission, working to prevent child abuse and neglect, strengthen families, and educate communities.
Amigos For Kids stands out for its pioneering initiative, “The Missing Review”which harnesses the power of digital platforms such as Google, Reviews y Yelp to disseminate information about children missing.
By strategically placing five-star reviews with information about missing children in businesses near their last sighting locations, the organization is able to significantly increase the visibility of missing children cases, exceed participation expectations, demonstrate the power of collective action and digital innovation in the fight against child exploitation.
Amigos For Kids not only raises awareness, but also provides tangible support to families and communities. Through programs such as the Aftercare Program Free School and that of Parenting and Care of Friendsthe organization offers a safe, nurturing haven for children ages 6 to 12, as well as essential tools and resources for parents and caregivers.

It is important to note that in 1985the National Coalition to Prevent Child Abuse in the USA marked a milestone by declaring April As the National Child Abuse Prevention Monthl. This initiative was born with a clear objective: to promote awareness and collective action to prevent child abuse.
Through awareness campaigns, educational activities, and training programs, the coalition sought to enlighten communities about the issue of child abuse and empower people to take action.
