Impact of the conflict in the Middle East

Patrick De Haan, an oil analysis expert at GasBuddy, commented in a digital publication that it is premature to link any price changes with the recent increase in tensions in the Middle East, which included an attack by Iran on Israel over the weekend.

De Haan noted Sunday that, at this time, they do not anticipate the conflict between Iran and Israel to have a significant impact on oil and gasoline prices.

However, he warned that the situation could change if Israel responds and aggravates the conflict.
