THE ANGELS-. The top scorer in the history of the French national team football, Olivier Giroudreached an agreement to play with Los Angeles FCa team in the American league that he will join in August, confirmed the player’s surroundings after information from radio station RMC.

The 37-year-old striker, whose contract with AC Milan expires on June 30, has committed to his new club for a season and a half, starting August 1, according to the French broadcaster.

After three seasons at AC Milan, the Californian team will be the eighth club in the veteran scorer’s career, after Grenoble, Istres, Tours, Montpellier (with which he won Ligue 1 in 2012), Arsenal (2012-2018) and Chelsea ( 2018-2021), with which he won the Champions League in 2021.

With 57 goals in 131 games, Giroud is also the top scorer in the history of the ‘Bleus’.

In Los Angeles he will meet again with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who has the record for games with the ‘Bleus’ (145).
