28 million foreigners in Cancun in four years
In the last four years they have entered Quintana Roo more than 28 million people from other countries, with 2022 being the year that has not yet concluded much more visitors, surpassing 2019, a record year in hotels and prior to the pandemic due to Covid-19.

Only from December 13 to 19 they entered 231 thousand 339 people; which gives an average of 33,000 people entering the state per day, a figure that broke records for air operations in days past, such as what happened on Saturday, December 17, when a total of 717 operations were registered only at the Cancun International Airport.
The people who visited the State are mainly from USACanada, Colombia, the United Kingdom, France, China, Peru, Germany and Argentina, according to data from the Ministry of the Interior.
The National Institute of Migration (INM) of the Ministry of the Interior registered from 2019 to 2022 the air entry of 28 million 532 thousand 972 foreigners to the state of Quintana Roo.
2019 they arrived in Quintana Roo; 8 million 434 thousand 63 foreigners.
2020 they arrived in Quintana Roo; 3 million 473 thousand 326 income.

Foreigners arrived in Quintana Roo in 1,480 flights during what has been the busiest week of the year, from December 13 to 19, with the United States being the main market niche, with a total of 115,703; and from Canada 34 thousand 495 the rest came mostly from ColombiaUK, France, China, Peru, Germany and Argentina.
