Ciudad Juárez— Three men were arrested for allegedly stealing a vehicle in the Parajes del Sur subdivision, according to Adrián Sánchez, spokesman for the Municipal Public Security Secretariat.

The arrest was made in response to a vehicle theft report made to the 911 emergency number, in which it was mentioned that the car was a red 2013 Nissan Sentra, and it was stolen on Refugio de la Libertad street.

With the data obtained, municipal police began the search, and located the car while it was traveling. Upon locating it, the driver was called to a stop, but he ignored it, accelerated the march of the car and began a pursuit.

The pursuit ended at the intersection of Generación 1915 and Efraín González Luna streets, in the Municipio Libre neighborhood, as far as the alleged criminals were reached, and later fully identified by the victim as those responsible for having hit him to steal his car.

For this reason, Miguel MA, 34 years old, Carlos LL, 23, and Omar LJ, 35, were detained by the Municipal Police.

After reading their rights, they were consigned before the corresponding authority to determine their alleged responsibility in the commission of the crime of vehicle theft with violence.
