A child under the age of four and an adult died victims of an armed attack in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, perpetrated this Saturday at noon in the Industrial Colony, located in the northeast of the city.
There were armed men who arrived shortly after 12:00 p.m. at the point located on the corner of Jalpa and La Paz streets and shot at the approximately 25-year-old man.
On the way, the bullets injured the minor, who was treated by paramedics who went to the scene to provide first aid.
Despite the attempt of the emergency elements, the girl died due to the seriousness of the injuries. She was not even able to be transferred to a hospital.
After confirming the death of the two people, elements of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) moved to the point to remove the bodies and begin the investigations.
A photograph of the victims, whom they identified as father and daughter, circulated on social networks, information that has not been corroborated by authorities.
Just this Saturday, another minor was executed in the Colonia Manuel M Ponce, in the downtown area of Fresnillo, when he was inside a sports field.
It was reported that the young man was 17 years old and was killed by hitmen who arrived at the sports area. The body was lifted and transferred to the morgue.
