With the opening of the guild chest and lighting the guild candle by candle master Florian Stadlbauer, the 544th guild day of the Großhammer guild in Feldkirch began on January 21, 2023 in the Schattenburg.
Guild master Stefan Glatz welcomes the guild members and the guests of honour. City councilor Magister Benedikt König can be welcomed as a representative of the city of Feldkirch.
After a quiet “minute of remembrance” for our deceased guild brother Sigi Egg, the report of the guild master follows. In addition to announcing the current membership figures, Stefan Glatz gives a review of the activities since the last guild day.
Treasurer Karl Gamper then reports on financial matters and is relieved by the cash auditors Herbert Fertl and Josef Burtscher.
In an interesting presentation, hearing care professional Doris Happe from Neuroth explains the background to declining hearing performance and points out how important hearing protection is for prevention.
