According to data shared in a report ‘The Ericsson Mobility Report’the barrier of one billion 5G subscriptions is expected to be surpassed next year. The same document also points out that by the end of 2026 the number of global subscriptions could even exceed 3.3 billion.

At present, technology already exists for the reliable transmission of vehicle data in real time. On the go, these new technology standards enable superior performance, safety, connectivity and utility in a compact design.
Therefore, in Mexico, it is expected that, in the near future, at least one hundred cities will have a 5G network, which would be equivalent to a coverage of 80 percent of the country. And in this context of technological updating, transport companies that move fast and adopt the new 5G connectivity standard have a great chance of becoming some of the main players in the Mexican market in the coming years.
