We have put behind us an exciting Telialiga round with several interesting matches. The most excitement was to be found beforehand in the match between Metizport and 777.

There were two teams who stated in advance that they did not quite know where they were. 777 has recently carried out a change of In-game leader, and Metizport has repeatedly stated that they are working holistically towards a long-term and larger goal.

Metizport got off to the best start

It was nevertheless Metizport that came out the hardest from the starting block. Morten “zEVES” Vollan Christensen’s boys started well and put pressure on their rivals in 777 before switching sides.

Steffen “SLY” Amundsen showed why many believe he is the Telialiga’s best player.

Kristian “akEz” Kornbakk and Steffen “SLY” Amundsen still wanted it differently on the Mirage, and the 777 never looked back after switching sides. The 777 secured the victory over the Mirage with the numbers 16-10.

In the second map of the match, on Nuke, Amundsen continued to be a pest and trouble for the Metizport team, showing how brilliant he can be. Metizport never really got into the game, and eventually had to realize that 777 in this half were too strong.

Rebels on fire.

Apeks Rebels have so far this season met the two newly promoted teams Infurity and Center Gaming. Although there have been two games that the Rebels have been expected to win, they have done so in superb style.

In the first series round, Center Gaming managed to run away with a map against 777, on Inferno. Against Apeks Rebels, they had no chance. The Rebels only gave up nine rounds on two maps, and secured a strong 2-0 victory. With yesterday’s victory in the box, Apeks Rebels top the table together with VOID.

This is what the results from the Telialiga’s second round look like.

The superintendency continues

Wizard continues to use the former Skade X duo Ole “Marcelious” Langan and Sander “Grus” Iversen. But against Infurity there was probably more resistance than they expected. Infurity impressed with a strong 16-10 victory over Nuke.

As you know, Nuke is quite a tactical map, and Infurity took advantage of the fact that they have played together over several years, while Wizard only meets for Telialiga matches. It could be interesting to see if more of the top teams try to get Wizard onto Nuke.

However, it was not to last for Infurity, who had a hard time on Overpass and Anubis. and had to look beaten when the Wizard machinery started.

In the other matches, VOID continued to show that they are hungry for the last playoff spot. Against Jotunheimen, they continued their good play and made it worse for the relegation candidate.

Bitfix Gaming took a strong win over Skottkärra, showing that they are not interested in being part of this year’s relegation battle. If Magnus “hagmeister” Hagen continues the great game he showed across all three maps yesterday, it could be exciting to see how long Bitfix gets to keep him.

This means that after two rounds played, the table looks like this:
