Traffic in the City wrote another tragic page yesterday. Apparently, it was late afternoon when a Chevy coupe and a motorcycle collided on Route 36, at kilometer 68, in Lisandro Olmos.

There, for reasons that will now be determined, both vehicles were involved in a collision, which was fatal for a 16-year-old girl, who was traveling as a passenger in a Duke 200cc.

The first report refers to the fact that the car allegedly hit the rear of the other vehicle, causing its occupants to fall. The 17-year-old who was driving the motorcycle, identified as GC and, who suffered injuries of varying degrees, and the girl, Celeste Condorí Gutiérrez, who lost her life at the scene, indicated the official report.

In the same way, everything will be subject to the result of the expert opinions, since, until the technical studies are carried out, it will only be possible to launch conjectures. The precision on the mechanics of the accident will come with the participation of road specialists.

The fact was classified as “culpable homicide” and both drivers share the role of defendants in this initial stage of the investigation.

It was learned that a 47-year-old man was driving the Chevy (in the direction of Vieytes) and with him were the 43-year-old couple and the 3-year-old daughter.

With this case, so far this year in the Region there have already been 28 fatal crashes.

ACCIDENTAL DAY

Yesterday there were several serious accidents in La Plata. One of them occurred in the Distributor area, more precisely at 13 and 523.

The spokesmen explained that a gray Citroën C4 collided with a pole and caused its three occupants to be trapped inside the vehicle.

For reasons that still cannot be clarified, the driver of the vehicle reportedly lost control and was the one who had to be transferred by a SAME ambulance to the Gonnet Hospital with considerable trauma.

He was accompanied by his two daughters, ages 6 and 9 respectively, who, according to the police report, escaped unharmed.

The cause is labeled as “accidental injuries” and UFI No. 12 intervenes, in charge of Fernando Padován.

For its part, at 13 and 93 a call to 911 was received for a collision. Thus, upon arriving at the scene, a police delegation found the occupants of two vehicles with bruises.

Among them was a four-year-old girl. The incident involved a white Renault 12 and a dark gray Ford Focus.

The only defendant is a 51-year-old man.

After the impact, all those involved escaped unharmed from the vehicles.

The minor was traveling in the Ford Focus who, as a precaution, was referred to the Children’s Hospital by a SAME ambulance. But in the hospital it was confirmed that she is healthy and out of danger.
