After the attack on the capital of Syria that left 15 dead in the neighborhood of Damascuswhere security and intelligence agencies are located, the NGO Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) denounced Israel.
Near the Iranian Cultural Center, in an area that Iranian militias and the Lebanese group Hezbollah use for their operations, a 10-story building was bombed this morning. According to the OSDH, among the deceased there are civilians. “Sunday’s bombing is the deadliest Israeli attack on the Syrian capital,” said Rami Abdel Rahman, the organization’s director.
“The Israeli enemy carried out an air attack from the occupied Golan Heights against various areas of Damascus and its surroundings, including residential neighborhoods,” the Syrian Defense Ministry explained, according to Télam.
The area of the Golan Heights, from where the attack started according to what was reported by the Ministry, is a Syrian plateau occupied by Israel since 1967. The OSDH also reported that there was another Israeli attack on the outskirts of Damascus, which hit the a facility of Iranian militias and Hezbollah groups.
