A canceled Star Wars film was to be directed by the Russo brothers

The brothers Joe and Tony Russo are behind multi-billion dollar hits such as Captain America: Winter Soldier, Avengers: Infinity Ward and Endgame and now we have learned that they worked on a Star Wars film that has now been closed. Just like Lost guy Damon Lindelof’s Star Wars movie, Kevin Feige’s Star Wars project and Rian Johnson’s Star Wars trilogy, this project has now been shelved, which of course has to do with fans expressing massive dissatisfaction with Disney’s take on Star Canon of War. Now the Marvel Russo brothers are busy anyway, of course, but it is certainly telling that Disney canceled more than four upcoming Star Wars projects.
