This is a young man identified by the Police as Axel Brian Egestti, who was apprehended by members of the San Isidro Departmental Investigation Delegation (DDI) and the Technological Crimes Division of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA) on Olga Cossettini street at 700, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Puerto Madero.

Police sources informed Télam that it all began on May 15, when Egestti, who was part of the dancers of the artist “Tini”, made an alleged sale of gaming chairs through an Instagram account, for which received a cash transfer in exchange for delivering the products with a maximum delay of 48 hours.

After that, he stopped answering the messages to the buyer and closed said social network account. As a result, the victim filed a complaint and the existence of the same maneuver was verified in at least two other events, for which an investigation was initiated. The investigations managed to determine that the dancer simulated the sale of computer supplies and gaming chairs, published professional photos of real stores and bought fake followers.

In this way, he managed to deceive the victims by pretending that it was a legitimate business and collected several million pesos per month, police sources reported. With the evidence collected and the author of the scams identified, the prosecutor of the San Isidro Correctional Area, Esteban Álvarez, ordered his arrest.

The capture took place this afternoon, after Egestti uploaded a story to his personal Instagram account, where he warned that he was in a bar in the Puerto Madero area. After being arrested, the dancer was housed in the PFA mayor’s office located on Cavia street, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo, waiting for the intervening Court of Requests to authorize the transfer to the province of Buenos Aires, to be investigated by prosecutor Álvarez.
