A lifeless body is found on the buoy wall that runs along the Rio Grande between Texas and Mexico

The Ministry of Foreign Relations (SRE) of Mexico, unfortunately reported a lifeless body was found trapped in the new area of ​​wire buoys placed in the Rio Grande, near the city of Eagle Pass, in Texas, United States.

The Mexican Foreign Ministry announced that the information came from the Texas Department of Security (DPS), which after the discovery notified the Mexican Consulate in this US demarcation. The authorities reported that they are already carrying out actions to rescue the lifeless body through personnel from their Beta Group, in charge of migrant protection and attached to the National Institute of Migration (INM) in the country.

Regarding the body that was floating in the Rio Grande, on the border between the United States and Mexico, in the north of the American continent, the Mexican Foreign Ministry stressed that still “the cause of death and the person’s nationality are unknown”.

Just a week ago, the Mexican government sent a new diplomatic note to the United States in which it accuses Texas of violating bilateral water and human rights treaties with the buoys and wire fence that Governor Greg Abbott has placed on the Rio Grande to stop migrants.

This same week, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador thanked United States President Joe Biden for filing a lawsuit against the state of Texas for installing a buoy barrier in the Rio Grande without federal authorization to stop migrants. .

The Mexican Foreign Minister, Alicia Bárcena, affirmed that the Mexican government has already sent two very clear diplomatic notes, saying that the 1944 Treaty and the 1970 Treaty, which talk about shared waters and the territorial limit, are being violated.
