A man managed to save a baby from being hit by cars that passed at high speed on the road and became the hero of California, United States. The event, which could have ended in a horrible tragedy, changed fate thanks to the quick action of the neighbor.

The man, identified as Ron Nessman, had moved into his sister’s house in California just days before after being homeless for 8 years. At the precise moment he stopped the stroller he was returning from a job interview at a nearby Applebee’s restaurant.

As it became known and as seen in the video, the baby’s aunt had gotten out of the car and had left everything ready to grab the stroller and go to the destination with the baby, but in an oversight of just a few seconds the vehicle started to slide into the street. She tried to run to catch him, but she tripped, leaving her heavily injured and sore on the floor unable to get up.

His sister, Donna Gunderson, who witnessed the drama from a nearby patio, confessed: “I heard screaming to the right. And I look back and I see a stroller coming down the driveway and my heart drops”, to which she also indicated that “the incident should serve as a lesson in locking the wheels of a stroller”.

The baby did not suffer any injuries and as for his aunt, she only had a minor injury to her knee.
