A man was shot to death in the Barranquitas neighborhood this Sunday morning. The event took place shortly before 11 when Community Police officers were intercepted by a young man asking for help.
The boy recounted that moments before he entered his father’s home, an internal apartment located at Calle Juan D. de Solís 3900, and found him kneeling dead on a chair with several bullet wounds to his body.
The victim was identified as Francisco Alberto Presidente, 44 years old. The first versions state that he had gunshot wounds to the chest, armpit and head.
The unfortunate man would have been with two women, one of whom was identified as his girlfriend, who initially did not allow the President’s son to enter. After a struggle, the women ran south down Juan D. de Solís street.
The President would have been in the place on Saturday night along with other people, in the framework of a meeting that lasted until early Sunday morning.
At one point in the night, there would have been a strong discussion that led to a fight, in which one of those present took out a firearm and shot the victim, ending his life.
As is customary, the scene of the incident was cordoned off and police personnel were present to work on the scene.
