Three people, including two students, were found “severely injured” this Friday as a result of an attack produced in a private school in the English county of Devon for which a 16-year-old boy is being held, as confirmed by the British police.

In a statement, the Devon and Cornwall Police Force (southwest of the country) revealed that they received a call around 01:00 in the morning (12:00 GMT) to report “a serious attack” occurred in a building from the facilities of the boarding school Blundell’s School, in the town of Tiverton.

The police added in the note that the victims “had been assaulted and had suffered multiple serious injuries“, for which” they have been transferred to the hospital for treatment.

“It is now believed that all parties involved are linked to the school,” Devon Police Superintendent Antony Hart said.

The agent confirmed that a minor under 16 years of age is now being interrogated at police stations “as a suspect on three counts of causing aggravated bodily harm.”

“This is a very traumatic incident for those involved and we will continue to work closely with the school to provide support to those affected,” Hart said.

The superintendent also gave assurances that “there is no broader risk” and added that the agents “are not looking for anyone else in relation to this matter.”

According to the BBC, the parents of other students of the center they were informed that this was “an isolated incident”.

The Blundell School has an annual cost of 41,325 pounds (about 48,187 euros) in the case of students who take advantage of the boarding regime.
