A Pokémon fan has done a great Quaxly sketch

A very talented Pokémon Scarlet and Violet fan has shared her awesome mechanical sketch of Quaxly, which is racking up hundreds of likes.

Although the cute character design of Quaxly has spawned many works made by fans of Pokémon Scarlet and Violetthe unusual medium of this work and its excellent execution have made it stand out from the crowd.

Quaxlythe Water-type starter from Generation 9, is one of three new Pokemon that players can choose in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Compared to its Sprigatito and Fuecoco counterparts, Quaxly is the most flexible in terms of Nature, and its overall stats make it the most versatile of the new starters.

Quaxly’s impressive Etch-a-Sketch drawing comes from reddit user u/PikaJane, who posted her detailed fan art on one of the site’s main Pokemon forums. The sketch is brought to life by a short time-lapse video, which begins with the character’s signature hairstyle. Pokemonthen moves on to the eyes, head and the rest of the body before some shading is added to what would be Quaxly’s blue parts in the last few seconds.

The image masterfully recreates the official Pokemon artwork, which is an incredible feat for a mechanical drawing toy, considering how difficult one is to wield so deftly.
