Microsoft is working on a new feature for Windows 11 that should allow users to control the RGB lighting of computer accessories such as mice, keyboards and headphones directly from the operating system. RGB lighting control aims to provide a simpler and more consistent alternative to the various software solutions offered by RGB device manufacturers.
RGB lighting control is currently in a pre-release version of Windows 11. It is not certain if the feature will be brought to the final version of Windows 11 via an update. The feature was discovered by Twitter user Albacore, who posted a screenshot published.
The RGB lighting control aims to allow users to adjust the brightness, lighting effects and colors of their RGB devices via a new option in Windows 11 settings without having to resort to third-party applications.
