24 teams took part in the BORG Egg alumni tournament.

Egg. After a break of three years, the BORG Egg organized the popular alumni tournament again. School graduates were invited by the seventh graders to compete in small groups in the football or volleyball categories. A total of 24 teams (five football teams and 19 volleyball teams) competed, setting a new record for participating teams. The spectator area was also well filled with former high school graduates who were happy to see their former schoolmates again. People remembered the time at the BORG Egg, but also exchanged new stories.

After many exciting games in the gyms in BORG Egg and the middle school in Egg, the most successful teams were determined. In soccer, the mixed team “1, 2, 3, Police” made up of former and current students and the school caretaker took third place. In an exciting final, the “Küri mit Pommes” (Matura class 2018) only narrowly lost to the winning team “Leandertaler” (seventh graders). In volleyball, the BORG teachers took third place, and the “Viribus Unitis” team (class of 1997) took second place. “The team that I personally like the most” ended up at the top of the podium (class of 2009).

At the cozy conclusion in the auditorium, the mood among spectators and teams was great and the winning teams were happy to receive handmade gift baskets from the seventh graders. Special thanks went to the main organizer Markus Flatz and the teachers Helga Vögel, Jan Dietrich, Johanna Mark, Kristina Kessler and Benedikt Lang. The students of the WPG Sport took care of the sporting direction. The event would not have been possible without the many helping hands of the three seventh graders with their class teachers Norbert Willi, Tobias Bilgeri and Daniel Amann. ME
