It should be noted that the earthquake which took place this morning was felt in Syria, Lebanon and Cyprus. And this, according to the American seismological institute USGS. Indeed, the intensity of the earthquake also caused several victims in Syria. In particular, 237 dead and 639 injured. It should be noted that the earthquake was 17.9 kilometers deep. Moreover, the epicenter was located in the Pazarcik region in the Kahramanmaraş province. That is 60 km from the Syrian borders.
Following this tragedy, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune ordered to send rescue teams to Turkey. And this, to participate in the rescue operations that continue until now.
