In the midst of the tension generated by the inflationary pressure that is increasingly corroding the pockets of the workers, the Government agreed with the CGT that they be exempted from paying the Income Tax salary additions.

The announcement could mean between a 6% and 13% improvement in salaries. Currently, Income Tax is paid by workers who receive a gross salary that exceeds $404,062, which, with all the contributions made, is equivalent to a net of $335,372.
