Just in time for the launch of the new Zelda game, Nintendo also released a flashy new limited edition version of its console with a theme inspired by Link’s new adventure. This has inspired accessory manufacturer Dbrand to make stickers based on the same theme, which they cleverly call Clone of the Kingdom and which are now available for purchase both for Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck.
A significantly cheaper option for those who want a console with a similar appearance, in other words. Dbrand has also chosen to include a coded message to Nintendo’s lawyers that mocks and mocks what they themselves have chosen to call one of the most obnoxiously belligerent companies in the world. A spokesperson for Dbrand who allowed himself to be interviewed had the following to say:
“Contrary to popular belief, you need to spend money to save money – specifically, by giving it to us,”

This is also not the first time that Dbrand has chosen to position itself and challenge the giants in the industry. As recently as last year, they ended up in a dispute with Sony after they started selling self-made faceplates for the Playstation 5. Something that was not appreciated by the Japanese console manufacturer.
