On Monday, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the L 190 in Nenzing, in which a 31-year-old man died and three other people were injured.

At around 5:30 p.m., the 31-year-old collided with an oncoming van in a curve separated by a barrier line, and his vehicle was thrown off the road. The van went into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a second car before overturning and blocking the lane.

The driver of the car was trapped and had to be freed by the fire department. The 25-year-old driver of the second car was flown to the St. Gallen hospital with serious injuries, while the 31-year-old died at the scene of the accident. A 29-year-old passenger and the 30-year-old truck driver sustained minor injuries.
