In an accident involving five cars on the A40 near Essen, six people, including a child, were injured, some seriously.
After a serious traffic accident, the A40 between the Essen-Frohnhausen and Rhein-Ruhr-Zentrum exits in the direction of Mülheim had to be closed for a long time on Christmas Eve. Five vehicles were involved – the cause is still unclear.
Six people, including a child, were injured in the accident around 3:30 p.m. Five other inmates were cared for by the emergency services on site, but did not have to be hospitalized. A dog that was in one of the cars was unharmed and was taken to an animal shelter. (ik)
