The cube was bursting at the seams during the comeback of the traditional ball.

After a two-year break, not only were the gymnasts highly motivated, but the guests also longed for the Turnerball – traditionally a highlight in the Wolfurt ball calendar. For weeks, the different sections have been training diligently and the right costumes have been fine-tuned, because this year’s gymnastics ball should be something very special.

After the welcome by gymnastics chairman August Reis, the time had finally come: The “Ninja Boys” opened the glittering ball night with a powerful show block, followed by the “Space Ants”, who presented their artistic gymnastics skills quickly and gracefully. In “Harry Potter & the Magical Gymnastics Show” the ball-goers were whisked away to Hogwarts magic boarding school before “99 team gymnasts on their way to triple somersaults” made the stage tremble. The section crew ended the program with a Super Mario show to great applause. Before the bar in the basement was stormed or people danced to the sound of “Roadwork”, numerous raffle winners were happy about small and large prizes. And those who missed the gymnastics spectacle this year can already look forward to February 2, 2024. Because at the latest then it’s time again: Clear the stage for the Wolfurt Gymnastics Association!
