“Throughout the ups and downs of a complicated profession, he always kept his head held high and continued to try to be the best version of himself,” Shaul said in a statement released Sunday. “Spending time with Johnny was a privilege we would have wished on anyone. He literally would have taken off his shirt to give it to you. After more than a decade together, he will forever leave a void in our hearts.”

Wactor played Brando Corbin on the ABC soap opera from 2020 to 2022. He also appeared in several films and television series, such as Station 19, NCIS, Westworldand the video game Call of Duty: Vanguard.
