Electronic Arts has officially revealed EA Sports PGA Tourthe return of the popular golf franchise from the publisher who has been on hiatus since 2015. The announcement includes the release date of EA Sports PGA Toursupported platforms, its debut gameplay trailer, Deluxe Edition content, and much more.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of EA Sports PGA Tour after EA confirmed development of the game in 2021. In just a couple of months, EA Sports PGA Tour will be in their hands.

To many, EA’s PGA Tour games are better known as Tiger Woods PGA Tour, the series branding used from 1999 to 2014. However, the significant Woods controversies at the time led EA to do a turnaround, leading to to the launch of Rory McIllroy PGA Tour in 2015.

The game’s poor reception and disappointing sales led EA to drop its partnership with the PGA Tour, giving rise to the standalone Golf Club series, now known as PGA Tour 2K. But EA is willing to return to golf.

EA Sports PGA Tour will officially launch on March 24 and will be available on PC (Steam and EGS), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It seems that EA wants to do its best with its first new golf game in seven years, and that is why it leaves the last generation consoles behind.

The game will include 30 different PGA Tour courses including Augusta National Golf Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links and more, with more to follow after launch. And, of course, the big four tournaments on the PGA Tour are included: the Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, the USA Open Championship and the Open.
