As reported by the organization Save Ukraine, it is about a group of 31 children who returned to Ukraine after being deported by the Russian Army from the occupied territories.

In turn, the same entity also denounces that some 19,000 Ukrainian minors were transferred illegally since the beginning of the warin February 2022. In addition, it was added that so far 61 children “forcibly deported” to Russia and 120 from the occupied territories of Ukraine have been recovered.

On his Twitter account, Mykola Kuleba, leader of Save Ukraine, stated that “this was the most difficult rescue mission of all the previous ones due to Russia’s large-scale information campaign.” He later added that the children crossed the border on foot and then took a bus to continue their journey.

At the same time, he was in charge of praising the Ukrainian mothers who traveled to Russian or occupied territories and who were “interrogated for 13 hours” by secret service agents.

Due to these accusations, the International Criminal Court (ICC) announced the issuance of an arrest warrant against the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, and against Lvova-Belova for the war crime of “illegal deportation” of Ukrainian children since the start of the conflict. Despite the accusation, Moscow denies it and ensures that the children were transferred to Russian territories so that they would be safe from the horrors of war.
