Ulm – The 32-year-old pop singer Marina Marx recently spoke in an interview about her collapse in 2019 with Florian Silbereisen. Now she addresses her fans on Instagram in a video with emotional words and makes her illness public, which, however, should have nothing to do with the incident at the time. According to Marx, she has been suffering from PCO syndrome, a hormone disorder that can occur in women of childbearing age, for three years. In addition, cell changes were found in her uterus.

The hormone disorder would also be accompanied by an excess of testosterone, acne, irregular cycles and small cysts on the ovaries, Marx explains to her followers. The cysts would make it difficult to get pregnant naturally. In addition, a cell change in the uterus was found in the 32-year-old, the result of which she would only receive in a few weeks. For the pop singer it is “a very personal issue”, but she knows how many women it affects.
Right at the beginning of her emotional video, however, the 32-year-old clarifies that she is not pregnant and has “problems with weight gain and loss” due to said health problems. She therefore appeals to her fans: “Please do not make body shaming comments. Don’t ask women if they are pregnant or not. There are so many girls out there who have had miscarriages, who can’t conceive, but who maybe just don’t want to have children.”
Furthermore, Marx admits that it can be “quite hurtful and extremely painful” to have to read something like that. She does not reveal why Marx is now making her illness public.
