The National Meteorological Service (SMN) warned that in the City of Buenos Aires a yellow alert for storm. The rains will begin this Friday night and will be accompanied by intense gusts, occasional hail, strong electrical activity and abundant rainfall in short periods. In fact, accumulated rainfall values between 20 and 45 mm are expected, which may be exceeded in a timely manner.
Although isolated rains are expected during the afternoon, at night there will be strong storms that will remain through early Saturday morning. Despite the intensity of the forecast rainfall, with the passing of the hours the situation will change and from the afternoon rain is no longer expected. In fact, only cloudy skies will last according to the forecast.
The yellow storm alert will also affect southern Saint Louis, more precisely to the towns of Ayacucho, Gobernador Dupuy, Belgrano, Libertador General San Martín and Juan Martín de Pueyrredón, as well as in some cities of Santa Fesuch as Constitución, Rosario and San Lorenzo.

For the period in which the yellow alert will be in force, the SMN recommended not taking out the garbage, removing objects that prevent water from draining, avoiding outdoor activity, not taking refuge near trees and electricity poles that could fall , do not stay near pools or rivers to minimize the risk of being struck by lightning and be aware of the possible fall of hail.

In turn, the SMN warned that the level of Orange alert by storm will be for the towns of Chapaleufú, Maracó, Rancul, Realicó and Trenel in The Pampa. Likewise it will be for Black riverwhere the climatic condition will affect the Adolfo Alsina Plateau, the San Antonio Plateau, Valcheta, Avellaneda, Pichi Mahuida and the Patagones Coast, and for chubutin the eastern areas of Mártires and Telsen, Gaiman, the Biedma plateau, the Florentino Ameghino plateau and the Rawson plateau.
The same warning was issued for much of the Buenos Aires province, in the towns of General Villegas, Rivadavia, Bolívar, Carlos Casares, Carlos Tejedor, Hipólito Yrigoyen and Pehuajó. Also, in the last hours, the departments of Alberti, Bragado, Chivilcoy, General Viamonte, Nueve de Julio, Veinticinco de Mayo, the north of Bahía Blanca, Villarino, Puan, Coronel Pringles, Saavedra and the lower area of Tornquist joined.
In the last few hours, the sudden arrival of storms caused problems in Neuquén and Río Negro, where different services were affected and routes had to be cut for prevention. Although the rains are expected to affect several provinces, the central and northern region of the country will continue with a yellow and red alert due to extreme temperatures.
Despite the fact that it will rain in the City of Buenos Aires, the high temperatures will continue. The SMN explained that the extreme heat will continue in Santa Fe and Córdoba, west of the province of Buenos Aires and the City of Buenos Aires, Chubut, Santa Cruz, and Entre Ríos.
