Thanks to the boost that Governor Tere Jiménez has given to the economic development of the entity, Aguascalientes will host the North America Automotive B2B Meeting, a business meeting that will bring together the most important buyers and suppliers of the automotive industry in Mexico, Canada and the United States .

Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, Secretary of Economic Development, Science and Technology (Sedecyt), mentioned that this event is a valuable opportunity for local companies, since they will have the possibility of joining the supply chain of transnational industries with purchase requirements for more of 5 billion dollars.

He stressed that, in accordance with the new provisions of the trade agreement between these countries, it is necessary to increase the regional content of vehicles manufactured in Mexico, for this reason the development of local suppliers is promoted in order to replace imports with national components.

For his part, the president of the Mexican Industry Supply Chain (Capim), René Mendoza, pointed out that the event will take place on November 29 and 30 of this year with the participation of 1,200 supplier companies and about 120 great buyers of all levels.

He added that there will also be the presence of delegations from Japan and South Korea, which will show the main technological advances in the sector.

Finally, he invited the companies of the state and the region to complete their registration through the website, he said that once registered, they will be able to present their productive offer and participate during the two days in business meetings with buyers, in addition to attending to specialized conferences on conversion issues towards the production of electric cars.
