Peter Bosz could soon be back on the sidelines in the Eredivisie. The 59-year-old is to replace Johnny Heitinga (39) as coach of Ajax Amsterdam, reports Dutch journalist Sjoerd van Ramshorst. The lost final against PSV Eindhoven (2:3 nE) was decisive for the decision.

Ajax is only third in the league. Unusual for the series champion, who ranks behind Feyenoord Rotterdam and the newly crowned cup winners from Eindhoven. Contact with Bosz is said to have already been made. It remains to be seen whether the change of coach will take place in the final phase of the season. There are still four match days to go in the Eredivisie.
