Al Nassr FC are looking for more stars after signing Cristiano Ronaldo. Yesterday, the English ‘Daily Mail’ linked Marco Reus with the Saudi Arabian club. The 33-year-old Borussia captain is available on a free transfer in the summer.
Opposite the ‘Bild’, Reus consultant Dirk Hebe indicates that there is actually something to the rumors about the Saudi club. “It’s normal for other clubs to be interested in a player like Marco, whose contract expires in six months.”according to the confidant of the BVB star.
Lever continues: “Marco has always emphasized how much BVB is important to him, but also that he wants to keep playing football. So it’s quite normal that we have to look at other options.”
BVB future uncertain
How things will continue for Reus in Dortmund is still open. The 33-year-old can imagine an extension, but according to ‘Bild’ the BVB captain has not yet received a concrete contract offer. The 48-time national player would also have to accept a salary cut – he could earn significantly more at Al Nassr.
