President Alberto Fernández stressed this Saturday that “shortly” he will send to the National Congress a bill on a new Educational Financing Law, as he promised last Wednesday with the head of the Union of Argentine Teachers (UDA), Sergio Romero.

“A few days ago we discussed educational and teaching issues with Sergio Romero, head of @UDAcentral,” the head of state wrote on his Twitter account.

In that sense, he said that: “I met the needs of our teachers and I promised to submit to Congress shortly our project for a new Educational Financing Law.”

Fernández replied in his post a publication of the UDA, in which he states that “this Wednesday, February 8, the President of the Nation, @alferdez, received the head of the UDA and Secretary of Educational Policies of the CGTRA in his office at Casa Rosada , Sergio Romero.

That union post was accompanied by a photo in which the President is seen in his office in the Government House together with Romero.
