Then it was official, the charges against the criminally accused Alec Baldwin are dropped and the actor is thus freed from all suspicion of causing another’s death. For those of you who don’t remember, Baldwin has been facing charges since he unknowingly fired a loaded weapon during the filming of the movie Rust in 2021, which unfortunately ended in death. Photographer Halyna Hutchins died, director Joel Souza was injured, and film production was halted.
The film’s weapons manager Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is still indicted and the verdict will now determine whether the case is taken forward to trial. The production of the film has since yesterday resumed.
