After more than a month during which the country experienced meteorological stability, with spring-like weather and fairly warm temperatures, the rain is finally returning to the north of the country.

For this Monday, January 9, 2023, the National Meteorological Office (ONM) has issued a special weather report (BMS) with a yellow level, rain and strong winds. This BMS will concern the wilayas of: Béjaia, Jijel, El Tarf, Skikda, Annaba, Ait Temouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdès and Tizi Ouzou.

The weather for this Monday will meet changes especially in the north of the country. For the western regions, we will note an alternation of sunny spells and cloudy periods.

Regarding the central regions, we will note cloudy periods, becoming denser from the afternoon with some rain.

The eastern regions will be entitled to an often cloudy sky with some rain from the afternoon.

Finally for the Saharan regions, the sky will be clear to partially cloudy.
