The main index of the Algiers Stock Exchange rose by 17,1% to reach 3646,5 points at the end of March 2023, while the market value increased by approximately 84.7 million dollars to reach approximately 572.6 million dollars at the end of the first trimester.

In addition, trading activity also increased during the same period, with the value of shares traded amounting to approximately 311 mille dollarsagainst 196,2 mille dollars in the last three months of 2022, with the number of shares traded also increasing to around 65.5 thousand shares.
