During an alcohol drive on Sunday morning in Lech, a passenger fell out of the vehicle, according to the police. The driver is accused of leaving his passenger at the scene of the accident.

A 28-year-old man is accused of driving a car in Lech on the L 198 in an intoxicated state at 4:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, in which four other people were traveling. At the level of the municipal office, a 21-year-old passenger fell out of the car while driving for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The driver is accused of then having committed a hit-and-run in the direction of Zürs without having taken care of the victim.

The other three passengers exited the vehicle at the scene of the incident. The exact circumstances of the facts are the subject of further investigations by the Lech Police Inspectorate. The man who fell out of the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Feldkirch State Hospital by ambulance.
