President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador held a meeting at the National Palace with businessmen, members of the Economic Advisory Councilwho described as “very good” the meeting that lasted almost three hours.

The businessmen began to leave the historic site through the Corregidora street access without giving any statement to the press, just Daniel Chavez, from Grupo Vidantawho replied “Everything is fine”, as he went to his vehicle to retire.

The president of Grupo Mexico, German Larrea and who is shaping up to be the buyer of Banamex from Citigroup, was the third to arrive at the National Palace.

Among the attendees were Carlos Hank from Banorte; Alejandro Ballieres from Grupo Bal; Miguel Rincón from Biopapel; Bernardo Gomez from Televisa; Germán Larrea from Grupo México, among others.

Before entering the National Palace, Miguel Rinconassured that Mexico is headed in the right direction, since currently the economic conditions in our country are growing.
